The TM 2020 potting machine can really show off its strong points when it comes to the big pot sizes. Designed specially for use in tree nurseries, it is technically and ergonomically conceived for performance and continuous potting, yet still remains extremely economical.
The TM 2020 is particularly suitable for processing large-sized containers such as those used for large root balls. The machine's drilling system is designed for soil drills with a diameter of up to 22 cm and works at two speeds, clockwise or anticlockwise and with adjustable drilling depths. To ensure gentle handling of different bushes, shrubs, roses, bare rooted plants and root balls extra substrate can be added by hand. For this purpose there is an additional store on the height adjustable central tray on the turntable, within the immediate reach of the personnel working the machine. With the standard version the compost arrives there by means of a soil chute, the quantity is dosed by a sliding controller. As an alternative, the substrate can be fed by means of a conveyor belt with adjustable conveying speeds.
With a volume capacity of 4,000 litres, the full soil hopper has generous reserves for a continuous working process even at a high production output, or for filling large containers. The supply of substrate can be conveniently topped-up via the extra-wide opening using a front loader or Mayer big bale breaker. The robust elevator technology on the TM 2020 with optimised drive technology can continuously cope with a high degree of strain and a maximum work load. Even heavy substrates are processed easily and with little wear and tear. The two selectable speeds ensure that the pots are filled evenly. For increased operating convenience, the elevator can move backwards or forwards.
