The Hamilton Handy " Hand" seeder offers growers an introduction to sowing seeds at a low entry point. The handy seeder allows seeds to be sown into plug trays one row at a time. Seeds are picked up on the precision holes located in the vacuum sowing bar. When the bar is moved over the tray for sowing the operator simply uncovers a small hole by the thumb position which relieves the vacuum and allows the seeds to drop off the bar. The tray is indexed manualy. The machine benefits from a vibrating seed hopper which improves singulation and the machine is constructed from stainless steel ad aluminium on a marine ply base.
