HD-Series Transplanter

Introducing a special automatic planting machine dsigned to plant seedlings in high density populations along prepared growing beds. The HD Transplanter is designed to save labour on the farm and provide a fast and efficient means of planting lettuce crops into the ground. The machine works automatically and is supplied to the farm on a custom made toolbar. The HD machine can be supplied in 4 , 6 or 8 row - planting assemblies. Seedlings are gently removed from the cells and automatically delivered to the planting units, which then position the seedlings in the ground at the desired spacing. The process is fully automatic. The attendant operator only needs to keep the seedling tray magazine full and monitor the planting result. Plant spacing is adjustable along the rows and spacing between the rows is fixed at the time of ordering. Planting output on continuous runs for the 6 row machine pictured above is upto 7000 plants per hour. All mechanical functions are accessible and easy to adjust . Units are attached to custom built frames with land support wheels, many optional extras are also available. The unit is powered by the tractor electrics and also by power take off (PTO).
